This drink delivers a surprisingly rich and creamy mouth feel with the light notes of pecan and macadamia complementing the whisky perfectly.

  • Ingredients

    40ml Roe & Co Irish Whiskey

    20ml Homemade macadamia, pear and apple syrup*

    Dash of homemade pecan tincture

    *slowcooked for 7hrs in a sousvide, dried pear, apple and nuts.

    For 1ltr around 300g of pear, apple and macadamia at 77degrees.

    All ingredients are stirred together in the old fashioned style and garnished with dehydrated pear

The inspiration for the drink was due to the distillery being founded in 1757, the pear was the first tree in Dublin located at the distillery. The style of drink is in keeping with The Bloomsbury Club Bar which is 1920’s inspired and so the drinks are classic in style using modern bartending techniques
