With any shock to a system, new opportunities arise and 2020 has witnessed the bar industry adapt to closures and curfews by offering their guests the opportunity to drink bar quality cocktails in their own home.

The Drinks Drop

Working in partnership with some of the best bars in Manchester and London, The Drinks Drop were quick to react to the first lockdown back in March and offer same-day delivery in central postcodes of both cities and offer nationwide delivery.

We loved the Mulatini created by Laki Kane, a bar that won best cocktail at one of our festivals and so we expected great things.

A great selection, good customer service and a nice website to boot, definitely worth checking out.

THE LIANA COCKTAIL CO

We enjoyed a great interview with founder David Wood back in the summer as he explained how the formation of the Liana Cocktail Co saved his primary business (delivering beautiful spirits into great bars).

We were lucky to be sent a box and loved the Rum Manhattan. Their USP is an interactive bartender experience which provides more background to the drinks you are enjoying and some history into the drinks which is a nice feature.

World of Zing has been leading the way in the UK for pre-bottled cocktails for several years and also providing other hospitality businesses with their own pre-bottled ranges. The owner Pritesh Moody is a regular on Sunday Brunch and is a highly respected flavour consultant within the industry.
